Scots get ready for summer with new Swingos

Councils in Scotland are continuing the drive to create cleaner towns and cities with a series of major orders for Europe's most popular compact sweeper - the Schmidt Swingo.

* North Lanarkshire Council is about to take delivery of the final vehicles of an order for eight Swingos.

* West Dunbartonshire Council has three new Swingos;

* Dundee City Council has two new Swingos.

* Aberdeen City Council will have two Swingos in June and a further five during the summer.

* Angus Council is also looking to a June delivery for four Swingos

* Argyll & Bute Council receive two Swingos during July.

* Glasgow City Council takes delivery of seven Swingos in the autumn.
